Frederick Phelan, Municipals
Mr. Phelan is a Director in the Municipals Department at Drexel Hamilton. Upon receiving a congressional nomination to attend the United States Air Force Academy, Mr. Phelan entered his military service. He served as an aircraft navigator flying C-130 aircraft, which included 240 combat sorties through five combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. After being discharged as a Service-Disabled Veteran, Mr. Phelan entered the Wall Street Warfighters program, and upon graduation took a position with Drexel Hamilton in 2011. While he has become one of the firm’s top sales professionals across all product lines, Mr. Phelan also remains actively involved with issuers, spearheading new relationships across the West and the Midwest. He holds Series 7 & 66 FINRA Licenses. Mr. Phelan continues his service as a Colonel in the Air Force Reserves with a focus on Defense Support of Civil Authorities for natural and man-made disasters within the United States. He has recently been deployed in the military’s response against COVID-19 as well as the initial reception and processing of Afghan refugees resettling in the United States.
