New York, NY, February 9, 2023 – Drexel Hamilton is pleased to introduce its newest military Veteran associate, James Grady. James served in the United States Army for over 20 years, much of it in special operations as part of the 75th Ranger Regiment, the Army’s premier light infantry unit and special operations force. James completed 8 combat deployments within 10 years to Iraq and Afghanistan, including a night time parachute assault during the 2003 Iraq invasion.

At the enlisted rank of Sergeant First Class, James was accepted into the Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) program. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Military and Global Issues at Columbus State University and was commissioned an officer. After assignments to 3rd Special Forces Group and Army Logistics University, James returned to the 75th Ranger Regiment as the Officer-In-Charge of the Requirements Division in the Regimental staff office for Force Modernization.

James holds an MBA from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, and volunteers his time with Special Operations Wounded Warriors (SOWW). He currently lives in Columbus, Georgia, with his wife Robin and their two children.
