New York, NY, October 6, 2022 – Drexel Hamilton, a 100% Veteran-owned and operated, full-service investment bank, had the distinct honor recently of taking part in Alkermes Field Leadership Summit in Waltham, MA.

Drexel Hamilton Director, Army combat veteran and Purple Heart Recipient Scott Smiley addressed Alkermes field leaders and members of the company’s military veteran-focused employee resource group (ERG), Operation Salute, about his combat experiences, the near-fatal, life-changing injuries he sustained while on patrol in Mosul, Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom, and how he coped and overcame them. He also discussed his transition to the civilian sector with the assistance of Drexel Hamilton President and Managing Partner John C. Martinko and Director Lynn Orenstein, who were also in attendance.
