From the U.S. Space Force to Wall Street
June 15, 2022 (New York, NY) – We are very excited to introduce Drexel Hamilton’s newest military intern, Justin Roopnarine! A U.S. Air Force officer, Justin joined the Drexel Hamilton Debt Capital Markets team after serving as a Developmental Engineer in the U.S. Space Force for 2nd Space Launch Squadron, Space Launch Delta 30 (SLD 30) at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. SLD 30 is responsible for all space launch operations from the west coast including polar launches and directly supports the United States’ assured access to space. Justin was also appointed Combat Development Team Lead and spearheaded several innovation efforts throughout the Air and Space Force. It didn’t take long for his extraordinary service to get noticed. Only a year after Justin received his officer commission, he was awarded Company Grade Officer of the Year.
Justin holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University. However, it is his passion for finance married with technology and innovation that drew him to Drexel Hamilton by way of a Skillbridge internship, enabling him to work in the finance industry while still on active duty through the time he transitions out of the military.
Justin, we are thrilled to have you as part of the Drexel Hamilton team!
