Three of Drexel Hamilton’s military veterans traveled to Albany Monday to sit with New York lawmakers and show support for a proposed “Jobs for Heroes” bill currently under consideration in the state legislature.

Danny Morales, Joe Krulder II, and Carolyn Hulse spoke with Senator Greg Ball, the bill’s primary author and supporter, and shared their stories with Ball and his colleagues. The proposal currently calls for a 5% mandate for companies seeking contracted services, and a addendum is under consideration that would include financial services as a part of that mandate.

Below, Krulder joins Senator Ball and Sergeant Bill Nelson, former CEO of HBO, to discuss the state’s proposal.
