Lorraine Peña, Capital Markets
Lorraine Peña is a Capital Markets Associate at Drexel Hamilton. She previously served in the United States Navy as an Operations Specialist. Her professional military experience includes a deployment on board the USS Roosevelt DDG-80 in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet Areas of Responsibility during the Afghanistan war and Operation Enduring Freedom. She was entrusted with positions such as the sole Command NATO Security Officer, Combat Watch Center Supervisor, and Officer of the Deck, which are customarily held by senior military personnel.
After the military, Lorraine was accepted into the Warrior Scholar Project program at Harvard University and was awarded a scholarship from Moody’s Corporation as a Moody’s Veteran Program Scholar. She then interned within the investment banking department at Guggenheim Securities, LLC as a part of their Veteran Initiative Associate Program.
Lorraine has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics-Philosophy from Columbia University. She is currently pursuing her SIE, Series 7, and 63.
