Carlos Orellana is currently transitioning from the United States Marine Corps where he serves as a Corporal in the Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 41. His professional military experience includes a deployment with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit to various regions of Southern Asia and the Middle East in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. Carlos has received various military awards including the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal for his service in Kuwait. He was also a recipient of the Honor Courage and Commitment Award presented by Major E. T. Hoffman for his distinguished performance at Marine Aviation Training Support Squadron One. Carlos is currently finishing his Associates degree in Business Administration at National University with the goal of transferring and obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Economics. On his days off, he enjoys snowboarding and hiking.
