Aerospace and Defense Analyst Receives StarMine Analyst Award for 2014 Calendar Year Ahead of Industry Conference
NEW YORK – Drexel Hamilton’s Senior Research Analyst Peter Skibitski was ranked as the top stock picker in the United States by Thomson Reuters for the 2014 calendar year. Skibitski received the StarMine Analyst Award as the number one stock picker in the Aerospace & Defense sector.
“Every analyst strives to provide the most value-added recommendations, so this award is a great recognition and honor,” said Skibitski.
“We are gratified that we are able to attract analysts of Pete’s caliber who are drawn to our mission of hiring and training service disabled veterans,” said Barry Sine, Director of Research at Drexel Hamilton. “In doing so, we continue to build one of the highest quality investment banks on Wall Street.”
The fact that Skibitski and Drexel Hamilton were recognized for excellence in the aerospace and defense field is not surprising to the analyst, considering the underlying mission of the firm to hire and train military veterans for work in the financial sector.
“Half of our employees are military veterans,” said Skibitski, “so Mike French and I are able to draw on their collective hundreds of years of military and commercial aerospace experience to provide valuable insights to our clients. I am pleased that these insights have enabled me to assemble a strong track record of recommendations which allow our clients to prosper.”
The award comes just three weeks ahead of the firm’s second annual Aerospace & Defense conference, scheduled for Thursday, June 11 in Manhattan. The conference, held at the Westin in Time Square, will feature presentations from industry experts and executives from the top companies in the sector.
A complete list of conference presenters will be available in early June. For more information on the conference, including a link to register, please visit www.drexelhamilton.com/research/conferences
