Barry SineSine is currently responsible for overseeing equity research with a focus on technical analysis and telecommunications services. Ranked a top analyst by the financial press several times throughout the past decade, he has managed start-up research operations for a number of firms and worked at some of the leading US investment banks. Prior to joining Drexel Hamilton he worked at CapStone Investments, where he ran the firm’s equity research business beginning in 2008 and ultimately grew it to 17 analysts with 24 institutional sales people. He previously managed start-up research operations for Kaufman Bros. LP. Sine’s coverage focus is telecommunications and he has twice been a top ranked analyst by the Wall Street Journal in the past five years. He also publishes technical analysis reports on equities, currencies and commodities. He has previously held positions with JP Morgan, Prudential, UBS and Oppenheimer. He is currently a director and board secretary of the New York Society of Security Analysts and is a past director of the Market Technicians Association. He has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designations. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Economics from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an MBA in Finance and International Business from New York University – Stern School of Business. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 16, 24, 63, 86 and 87 licenses.
